We've got another 20 days to go for our first annual show and it brings me immense pleasure and happiness to introduce you all to our honorable chief guest. AWN would like to thank her sincerely for her support!
(Jainy Kuriakose) am based out of Bangalore, home to myriad nature lovers and wildlife photographers. It was just a pass time when I started bird watching with some great birders in Bangalore. Frequent birding trips over the weekends and interaction with such enthusiastic and knowledgeable group of birders provided a great forum for me to learn more about birds, wildlife and photography. The short weekend trips soon got extended to several exotic birding locations in the country. Such trips, meeting up with experienced birders and naturalists transformed the initial pass time to a compulsive passion.
Photography is a conduit for me to satiate my own passion towards capturing the colors and mysteries of nature's imposing attractions. A great deal of understanding of wildlife in general intertwined with extreme patience is paramount to attempt any mode of ethical wildlife photography. Wildlife photography indeed serves as a powerful visual media to galvanize people towards the beauty and knowledge of preserving the mysterious wonders of nature to which they may otherwise be indifferent.
