Details about the show is as below

Please send in your portfolio details by last week of February 2019.

Venue: Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, India.

All artworks must be of Indian Wildlife

1. Flora- Landscapes, Seascapes, Botanical art

2. Avian- Artworks with Birds

3. Mammalia- Artworks with Mammals

4.Open Category- Butterflies,Insects, Reptiles, Amphibians

5. Sculpture

Show Dates: 8th April 2019 to 14th April 2019

It would be 7 days show! This will be a Gallery show

Flora- Landscapes, Seascapes, Botanical art

·         Native wild flowers are accepted subjects

·         Please mention landscape with reference from which Indian forest

·          Please mention Seascape with reference from which Indian coastal region

Avian- Artworks with Birds

·         Native wild Birds are accepted subjects

·         Please mention Birds names and reference( Source of the image from which the artwork was done)

Mammalia- Artworks with Mammals

·         Native wild Mammals are accepted subjects

·         Please mention Mammal names and reference( Source of the image from which the artwork was done)

Open Category- Butterflies, Insects, Reptiles, Amphibians

·         Native Species are accepted subjects

·         Please mention species names and reference( Source of the image from which the artwork was done)

1 Once selected, please submit 10 works which will be displayed at the show for curation

2 There are three sizes to work from: 4x4 inches, 5x7 inches and 8x8 inches. Sculpture not more than 11 inches

3 Cost of the show will be shared by all participating artists

4 Which includes Gallery rent, transportation charges if borne  by AWN from their studio to gallery, any other charges borne  by AWN in running the show(Posters, advertisement, show invites, media etc)

5 Cost sharing doesn't include, courier charges borne by the participating artists to and fro. Any personal charges borne  by the artists

6 The artwork must not have won any prize in any other competition anywhere in the world, or been previously published

7 The artwork must have been created within last three years and be your own original work

8 Artist must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all artwork entered, OR if your work is copied from a photograph(s) that is/are not your own, you must have sole permission in writing from the copyright owner to use his/her work. Copies of published photographs or paintings are not eligible. Source material or proof of permission to use must be made available on request by the judges. AWN does not accept any liability in the publication of unlawfully reproduced art

9 We might ask for reference images from which the artworks were made if your artworks get short listed

10 All artworks must feature wild natural subjects: domestic, captive species will not be accepted. Wild and not captive are acceptable subjects

11 Shipping cost to be borne by artist on selected artworks from artist location to venue and from venue to artist location is artist responsibly

12 Selected artworks need to reach us by first week of April 2019

14 Please ensure that each painting entry is clearly marked with:

- Full Artist name

- Full postal address

- Telephone number

- Title of painting

- Medium (e.g. Watercolour, acrylic, etc)

- Category

- Size excluding frame in inches

15 Incomplete entries will be disqualified. All entries and artwork must be submitted online to artistsforwildlifenature@gmail.com .Original paintings cannot be accepted during selection

Kindly note the framing details for miniatures artworks, after selection.

·         If artwork is done on paper size 4x4, 5x7 or 8x8 inches, while framing ensure to give 1 inch cream colored mount with 3/4 inch flat frame

·         If artwork is done on canvas sizes 4x4, 5x7 or 8x8 inches, while framing ensure to give 1/2 inch flat frame

Important: Cost Details

·         Cost per painting to be equal or lesser  than Rs:5000

·         Sculpture cost to be equal or lesser than Rs: 8000
