All artworks must be of all
species apart from Indian Birds

October 2019 to 16th October 2019 (Saturday to Wednesday)

days show! This will be a Gallery show

• Native Indian species are accepted subjects
• Please mention species
names and reference( Source of the image from which the artwork was
done)
• Entries without proper
names and reference will be rejected
1 Once selected, please submit 5-6
works which will be displayed at the show for curation
2 Minimum size of your original artwork without
frame should be 11x14 inches and maximum size not more than 4x4 feet
3 Cost of the show will be shared by all
participating artists
4 Which includes Gallery rent,
transportation charges if borne by AWN from their studio to gallery, any
other charges borne by AWN in running the show(Posters, advertisement,
show invites, media etc)
5 Cost sharing doesn't include, courier
charges borne by the participating artists to and fro. Any personal charges
borne by the artists
6 The artwork must not have won any prize in
any other competition anywhere in the world, or been previously published
7 The artwork must have been created within
last three years and be your own original work
8 Artist must be the sole author and owner
of the copyright of all artwork entered, OR if your work is copied from a
photograph(s) that is/are not your own, you must have sole permission in
writing from the copyright owner to use his/her work. Copies of published
photographs or paintings are not eligible. Source material or proof of
permission to use must be made available on request by the judges. AWN does not accept any liability in the
publication of unlawfully reproduced art
9 We might ask for reference images from
which the artworks were made if your artworks get short listed
10 All artworks must feature wild natural
subjects: domestic, captive and feral species will not be accepted. Wild species
are acceptable subjects
11 Shipping cost to be borne by artist on
selected artworks from artist location to venue and from venue to artist
location is artist responsibly
12 Selected artworks need to reach us by end
of October 5th 2019(For artists residing outside Bangalore)
14 Please ensure that each painting entry is
clearly marked with:
- Full Artist name
- Full postal address
- Telephone number
- Title of painting
- Medium (e.g.
Watercolour, acrylic, etc)
- Category
- Size including frame
in inches
15 Incomplete entries will be
disqualified. Mobile
photographs of artworks for selection will be straight away rejected. Only entries sent to the below email id will
be considered for the show. Please avoid sending entries
on facebook, whatsapp and other media platforms. All entries and
artwork must be submitted online
to artistsforwildlifenature@gmail.com .Original paintings cannot be
accepted during selection. All communications will happen through email only!
16 Malpractice in making art, if found during
the course of submission of artworks, example digital manipulation and painting
over photographs, etc. No
explanation will be provided and that artist would be banned from submitting
artworks for a year in of AWN art shows
17 Kindly adhere to the sizes provided,
any variation in sizes will led to rejection
18 Jury's decision about selected artworks is final, no further
questions about selection process is encouraged. No further reviews of artworks
are entertained
19 Deadline to submit artworks for online selection is strictly 30th September 2019, no further extension will be given
